After a couple of years of experiencing this sport evolve and trying to answer the question'where do I get one' to the curious folks there was ony one answer and that was to create Newcastle Standup Paddlesurfing. A one stop shop to get people out onto the water to experience what as been descibed as the fastest growing sport in the world!
Owner Simon Dodd is no new comer, he has grown up around the water and has become a master of all water boardsports such as surfing, competitive longboarding, windsurfing, foilboarding and tow-in surfing etc...
He has been around the industry, travelled the world surfing and met and learned from some of the greatest watermen in the world such as Brian Keaulana. With the sport being so new in Australia most retailers are still learning themselves and that's why Newcastle Standup Paddlesurfing is a step above the rest.
